Rhythm Hotel is an upcoming rhythm game that’s full of absurd humour and bizarre historical jokes. A lot like Rhythm Heaven, the PC title is developed by SyncArc-Studio and published by Infini Fun. The team stresses that they’re building something that’s just fun, weird, and memorable.
The game is currently in development and is targeting a release by the end of 2026. Its demo was released in August 2025 and is available on Steam. The free demo includes several of the strange levels and characters.
The full version of Rhythm Hotel will include over 20 unique rhythm mini-games. You’ll take the role of the innkeeper and deal with characters like Socrates and Zhang Fei, while completing rhythm challenges to keep everything running.

The game takes place in a strange hotel full of weird guests pulled from history and random imagination. Every level is a rhythm challenge mixed with some ridiculous scenario. It’s all wildly unpredictable with absurdly hilarious storylines.
Some of the levels include things like Einstein’s selfie, Socrates kicking a donkey, and other odd historical jokes turned into rhythm challenges. And most recently, the devs introduced a new character called The Docator. It’s part cat and part medical saviour, but fully rhythmic.
The Docator appears in a level called CPR. You’ll see the orange tabby cat performing CPR on a parrot while you keep the rhythm going. That kind of bizarre humour is exactly what the devs are aiming for throughout the game.
Needless to say, since it’s a rhythm game, music plays a big part in Rhythm Hotel. The game includes a wide range of music styles such as EDM, retro disco, and pop tracks. Alongside, it offers various quirky sound effects.
