Bite By Night is out to the public, and if you’re anything like us you’ve been eager to work out what to unlock. We’ve already covered the Bite By Night classes, so now we’re headed down the darker past with this Bite By Night killer tier list.
Bite By Night Killer Tier List
Our tier list runs in descending order, with the top Killers at the top, and… well you get the general idea.
S Tier
Top priority to unlock, these have some of the best abilities and stats. Survivors should be very worried if you see one of these active.
- There’s nothing we’d say is far and away better than the other Killers right now, so we’re not putting anything into S Tier for the moment. This may change in the future.
A Tier
These are definitely about average and stand out as good choices, you might want to prioritize unlocking these.
- Springtrap – A solid Killer. Springtrap starts with good walking speed (Mimic has to switch to Speed Mode to surpass it, it’s the same by default.) The Scream move is also great for wreaking absolute havoc on the most organized Survivor teams. Follow it up with a charge to ruin their day.
B Tier
Good, nothing special. You can do perfectly well with these but there are more capable killers out there.
- Mimic – The Mode Switch ability adds a lot of versatility to this Killer, but the cooldown can cost you dearly when you get into a melee situation. If you have fast reactions then you might be able to wreck Survivors with this one, but there’s also a good chance it’ll just feel fiddly and add an extra layer of complexity that is better solved by Springtrap’s relative ease of use.
- Ennard – Skin Stealer sounds like a great skill, and it is… right until Survivor players figure out how it works. It’s a cool idea, but once everyone gets wise to it and learns the tells, you’re going to get diminishing returns as time goes on. Don’t be surprised if no-one falls for your tricks after a while.
C Tier
Not amazing. These don’t bring a lot to the table, and have some not-so-useful skills.
- There’s nothing we’d consider C Tier right now.
D Tier
Kind of useless, don’t bother with going out of your way to unlock these.
- Nothing in D Tier, everything we’ve seen in the game is viable.

- What is a Killer in Bite By Night?
- Killers are animatronic abominations based on monsters from the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise. Each round, one player will be chosen to take the role of the killer, and the killer’s goal is to eliminate all of the Survivors before the end of the round.
- What is the best killer in Bite By Night?
- Currently, our vote is for Springtrap for an overall solid and uncomplicated Killer, at least until you’ve logged a few Killer hours to get to grips with it, then you might want to try something more complicated.
