How To Get The Plaguereaver in Fisch

The Plaguereaver is the final reward for completing the Plagued Reaper questline, located at Toxic Grove.

• First Quest: Return 1x Decayed Venom Maw to the Plagued Reaper.
  • Legendary fish caught within the Toxic Grove. Likes Shark Head bait.
  • Reward: 1x Toxinburst Line
• Second Quest: Return 1x Blight Idol to the Plagued Reaper.
  • Secret fish caught within the Toxic Grove. Likes Coal bait.
• Third Quest: Return 1x Noxious Rotbloom to the Plagued Reaper.
  • Exotic fish caught within the Toxic Grove. Likes Luminous Larva or Thorn Cluster bait.
  • Reward: 1x Plagued Blight Idol
• Fourth Quest: Catch and return 1x Witherbloom to the Plagued Reaper.
  • Secret fish caught within the Toxic Grove. Likes Truffle Worms or Thorn Cluster bait.
  • Rewards the Plagued Reaper

50 Perfect Catch Quest

The Doomsekkar questline in Fischfright 3 requires 50 Perfect Catches in a row in the Frightful Pools without breaking the streak. The issue with this is how erratically the event-limited fish move, making it horribly challenging without a high Control Rod.

This is where the Plaguereaver truly shines, as even though it isn’t affiliated with this event, it offers the highest Control of any rod in the game, covering 70% of the bar’s width during the catch minigame.

Using the Plaguereaver + Garbage Bait build, this 50 Perfect Catch quest becomes ridiculously easy.

Garbage Bait

• -500% Universal Luck
• +50% Resilience
• -5% Lure Speed

Garbage Bait works great for completing this quest because of its negative Luck. This almost guarantees low-tier catches, which means the fish on the hook of the Plaguereaver will move calmly, as opposed to high-tier fish, which try to evade capture by moving left to right rapidly.
