Witchcraft? Uh, yeah, I sure hope they do. In this Vampire Life guide, I’m indexing all known Witch Crafting Recipes so that those who choose the life of arcane and alchemy carry an air of terror as they unleash powerful and wicked spells onto lowly Vampires and Humans.

Vampire Life Witch Crafting Recipes

Praesidium Potion

The Praesidium Potion protects the Witch who consumes this brew, and enemy actions against the Witch will have different results. For example, if a Vampire, Cannibal Vampire, or Resurrected Cannibal bites the Witch, the attacker will enter hibernation after the bite animation ends.

If they attempt to break the Witch’s neck, the spell turns against the attacker, and the Vampire will die instead of the Witch.

In short, the Praesidium acts as a protection spell, with the chalice holding the potion dictating its active duration.

• Obtain a container.
  • Cup: 800 Coins via General Merchant
  • Dish: 3,000 Coins via General Merchant
• Have a Vampire who is level 100 or higher use their E Skill to fill the container with blood, creating the Blood Cup or Blood Dish.
• The Witch (must be level 100+) needs to then take the Blood-filled chalice to the Altar, along with some Verbena, a plant that spawns randomly around the map.
  • Place the container in the designated spot.
  • Place one container at a time.
  • Hold the Verbena and click on the container to add it to the brew.
• To complete the spell, type: Praesidium! into chat and press send.

This spell only protects Witches who drink it. The Praesidium Cup lasts 20 minutes, and the Praesidium Dish lasts for 40 minutes. Realistically, it’s cheaper to keep making Praesidium Cups, as two cups are cheaper than one dish, and two cups have the same duration.

During the spell, if the Witch dies, the ritual cancels and all invested materials are lost. However, if the Witch wants to cancel the ritual before completion, she can remove the container and recover the Verbena.

Temporary Daylight Ring

As implied by the name, the Temporary Daylight Ring allows the wearer to be sun-protected when worn. Witches don’t burn in the sun, so this recipe is only applicable if a Witch has a Vampire they’re friendly with who they want to give it to.

• Heart
  • Obtained by using the Level 100 Witch ability that allows you to pull out the hearts of NPCs and Players, itemising their demise.
• Metal Ring
  • Bought from the General Merchant for 5,000 coins. The Merchant is located next to the Church and has a lantern fixed to his belt.

The Magic Altar

The Magic Altar is tucked away in a forest in the map’s southwestern corner. It resides on a smooth pedestal and appears as a table with a red runner cloth and surrounding candles, making it fairly easy to spot against the natural-toned backdrop of the forest.
