How to Redeem Codes

1. Load up the lobby in Bite by Night
2. Click the diamond-shaped ‘Settings’ button, which looks like two cogwheels on the left of your screen
3. The ‘Settings’ window then opens, and there’s a code box at the bottom
4. Copy and paste a code from this guide, or you can opt to type it out manually
5. Click the green ‘Redeem’ button
6. Your free rewards should appear in your account immediately

How to Get Scraps For Free

There are other ways of obtaining the currency. The first is by simply playing Bite by Night. For each match you play, either as a survivor or a killer, you earn Scraps. Completing objectives rewards you with additional Scraps, and the longer you survive in a match, the more Scraps you get at the end.

While I recommend sticking with the F2P options, Scraps can also be purchased with Robux from the in-game Robux Shop window. Each bundle costs:

As you can see, unlocking new killers costs the most Scraps, but you need a fair amount for the different survivor classes, too.

Solving the Elevator Code Mystery

There is also a bit of a mystery surrounding an elevator keypad. The buttons are interactable, leading to players trying to figure out what the correct code is.

As of right now, there are no hints in Bite by Night pointing towards what this code is, so it’s quite the conundrum. Some have floated the idea around that it might be ‘1987’, which is a reference to ‘The Bite of 87’. This is a key event in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, which I won’t spoil, just in case. Perhaps you’ve even seen the Markiplier meme where he shouts it.

Unfortunately, players have tested ‘1987’, and it didn’t work. Maybe it was too much of an obvious choice. Other than that, the keypad may not be entirely functional just yet. I’m keeping an eye out for any developments regarding the elevator code, which I’ll then add to this guide.

My theorist brain immediately cooked up the idea that the keypad may be used to redeem codes, but that would mean each code is a set of 4 numbers. This is largely unheard of in Roblox games and any game, for that matter, with a code reward function.
