Fish It Hazmat Rod Obtainment

The Hazmat Rod is the second ever rod sold by the Traveling Merchant NPC, who is found in a small boat with a red and white striped tent to the right of the Spin Wheel on Fisherman Island.

The Traveling Merchant restocks every 12 hours, so you may need to check back a few times before they sell the legendary rarity Hazmat Rod. Alternatively, if you have 49 Robux to spare, you can force the NPC to restock.

The Hazmat Rod costs over 1 Million Gold to obtain. The exact amount is hard to calculate since the tip of the rod obscures the price in the merchant’s store window. If you want to obtain it, I suggest saving until you have 2 million to account for its possible costs.

Hazmat Rod Stats

Whilst not one of the best rods in the game, the Hazmat Rod fits nicely into the natural progression thanks to its favourable stats, including:

• Luck Boost: 380%
• Rod Speed: 32%
• Maximum Weight: 300 KG

Best Enchant For The Hazmat Rod

Since the game doesn’t offer any enchantments that increase maximum weight, something that this rod lacks a substantial amount of, it’s better to focus on one of its other stats instead and enhance that.

I recommend Leprechaun II, which has a 5% chance to apply when enchanting rods. Leprechaun II applies a +50% Luck buff, taking the Hazmat Rod luck to an impressive 570%!
