With the developers dropping regular updates, you may be wondering, When is the Next 99 Nights in the Forest Update? This guide goes through everything we know about future updates and what new content is coming out.

When is the Next 99 Nights in the Forest Update?

The next update is on October 4th, 2025. At the time of writing this, that means it is on Saturday!

At the moment, we don’t know anything about this update. The description is simply “What’s it gonna be?”, and there aren’t any pictures giving us hints. Normally, the developers tell us more about the next update in the week, so we can expect to find out more soon.

As the past few updates were large, giving us new entities and events, this one may be a little smaller. Perhaps it will be like the cosmetic update, or it will be another event. A recent poll in the official Discord allowed people to vote for what type of update they enjoy the most, and events won. Therefore, limited-time events like the Alien and Frog may be more frequent. Personally, I hope that’s the case, because I really enjoyed those!

Although we don’t know when the next update is after this one, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. There seem to be regular updates every weekend, so we’re spoilt for content.
