Verse Piece Races Guide

Your lineage determines the very beginning of your character build, so it’s important to choose wisely! When rerolling for a race, it’s not as simple as aiming for the highest rarity, instead, you should focus on what benefits sound most bountiful and helpful to you. To earn Race Spins, find and crack open any rarity of Chest. These can be found after defeating bosses and completing certain missions.

When rerolling, there’s no guarantee that your next roll will amount to anything better than the previous. With this in mind, if you roll for a heritage with a higher rarity, consider trying it out first before committing to a reroll!

Common Races

70% Reroll chance.

• Human
  • The standard, this lineage has no buffs.

Rare Races

12.5% Reroll chance.

• Fishman
  • Able to swim faster than every other lineage.
• Skypiean
  • Ability to Geppo 10 times consecutively.

Legendary Races

1.5% Reroll chance.

• Arrancar
  • Increases Special DMG by +1.5x
• Reaper
  • Increases Sword DMG by +1.5x
• Quincy
  • Lessens damage intake by 15%

Mythical Races

0.1% Reroll chance.

• Angelica
  • Has a small chance to conjure a thunder strike when attacking to deal more damage.
  • +1.25x DMG
• Demonic
  • Prevents enemies from healing for 5 seconds
  • +1.5x DMG
• Truthseeker
  • Removes basic combat
  • Buffs max health
  • +1.75x Sword DMG
• Vampire
  • Lifesteals for every successful hit on an enemy
  • +1.25x DMG
• Vessel
  • Applies Bleed passive lasting several ticks with successful M1 attacks
• Saiya
  • Reduces incoming attacks by 70%

Secret Races

0.025% Reroll chance.

• Dullahan
  • +1.5x damage during daylight, and +2x damage during nightfall.
• Truthseeker
  • +2.5x Sword DMG
  • +50% HP in exchange for no combat
• Shadow
  • 100% DMG reduction during PvP
• Dragonic
  • +2.25x DMG
  • This Race is required for Rimuru
• Half-Cyborg
  • Max HP increased by x2
  • Reduces incoming DMG by 75%
• Slime
  • 80% DMG intake reduction
• Fallen Angel
  • +2.75x DMG Multiplier
  • Passive smite: With every hit, there’s a chance for a smite of sword to fall onto enemies. This renders them unable to move, and its damage scales off the player’s spec stat.
