The Ghoul RE Ghoul Progression process isn’t too difficult, but there’s quite a bit to keep in mind when working through the ranks and improving your Kagune.

Ghoul RE Ghoul Progression

All you need to know when it comes to progressing in the game as a Ghoul!

Ghoul Ranks

The top place is the max rank and the bottom rank is the first one you get as a Ghoul! SSS Rated is the maximum rank you can obtain. At the B+ rank, you unlock the ability to consume Kaguen Sacs. Per rank, you unlock 5 Stat Points!

Unlocking Your Kagune

To unlock your Kagune, you need a total of 5K RC Cells. Upon obtaining your Kagune, it is classed as ‘unstable’. Once you reach the B+ Rank your Kagune stabilises!

Unstable Kagune

An Unstable Kagune means it is weaker overall, so from C Rank to B+ Rank, your Kagune cannot reach its full potential. You have no skills with an Unstable Kagune and you must spend Hunter to activate it in battle.

Evolving Your Kagune

Your Kagune will most likely have 2 stages, whereas others may have additional stages. For the evolution of your Kagune, you need to collect RC Cells, as every Kagune has a specific requirement for RC.

By consuming Kagune Fragments and Kagune Sacs, you can evolve your Kagune. Those you consume depend entirely on the RC type of your Kagune, for example, Ukaku, Rinkaku, etc. Lastly, the final thing you must do to evolve your Kagune is to eat a fellow Ghoul, as long as they have a third of the required RC!

Ghoul Masks

As a Ghoul, you must hide from the CCG. If you’ve watched or read Tokyo Ghoul, you already know about the masks that Ghouls have to wear! The same applies to Ghoul RE. When wearing a mask, your name is hidden from CCG players and is changed to your current Ghoul Rating and a Mask Name that changes for every player.
