If you want the Fisch Relic Rod, you better be quick! It’s only available during the Archeology event, and while its obtainment is straightforward, it might take a bit of time if the RNG isn’t on your side.

Fisch Relic Rod

The Fisch Relic Rod is a limited-time item that can be obtained at the Archeological Site, a new location added to the game for the event.

How to Obtain the Relic Rod

To get the Relic Rod, you must complete the entirety of the Archeology Bestiary, which has 10 fish to catch, ranging from Uncommon rarity to Mythical. Well, I say fish, but they’re bones. To unlock this Bestiary you need to visit Dr Finneus, whose location is marked on your screen, at the coordinates X: 1175.2, Y: 132.1, Z: 2454.3.

After completing the Bestiary page, Dr Finneus gives you a note that includes a code written on it. The next step is to head to the Archeological Site island to find a stone sculpture with symbols carved into it.

Take a look at the code on the note and click the symbols in the order that they are written. This opens the gate, unlocking a secret room, which is where the Relic Rod is available to purchase for 8K coins.

Bone Locations

While the Archeology Bestiary includes hints about where to find each bone across the different islands, I’ll make it easier by noting them here! After all, you have to revisit Dr Finneus to keep an eye on the progression of the Bestiary page. You need to fish at Moosewood Island, Roslit Bay, Snowcap Island, Mushgrove Swamp, and Forsaken Shores to collect all 10.

What Does the Relic Rod Do?

Sadly, the Relic Rod doesn’t have a passive ability, so you’re purely relying on its base stats. However, you can improve either of them by enchanting the rod with Enchant Relics. Its stats aren’t the best, but with it having a cost of 8K coins, it isn’t breaking the bank.

Plus, it’s a rare rod that’s only available during this event, so it’s something to show off! However, many players speculate that the Relic Rod has a big part to play when it comes to the Ancient Isles.
