Void Fishing Golden Rod Guide

The base stats for the Golden Rod make it one of the best rods in the earlier parts of the game. Both its Efficiency and Luck stats start at 7.50 without any upgrades.

It’s a lot better than the Crystalline Rod, which starts at 4.50 for both stats. You’ll have to swap it out once you obtain the Divine Rod, Cursed Rod, and the Rod of the Abyssal Deity. The Nebular Rod shares the same base stats as the Golden Rod!

How to Craft the Golden Rod

Firstly, you need to collect all of the required items. You obtain these items by fishing, which leaves it all to RNG sadly. However, there are multiple ways to increase your luck, meaning you’re more likely to fish out a Golden part sooner rather than later! To craft the Golden Rod, you must collect:

• 1 Golden Reel
• 1 Golden Line
• 1 Golden Handle
• 1 Golden Rod (the part, not the actual crafted rod!)
• 1 Golden Hook

Once you have all of these parts, you can select the Golden Rod in your inventory, and then click on the green ‘Craft’ button. This then crafts the full Golden Rod! You can instantly equip it if you wish to do so.

How to Get Golden Parts

Golden parts are of the Relic rarity, which means they’re super rare to find when fishing. You may get lucky out of the blue and randomly pull one out of the water – that’s what happened to me!

But, it’s best to use luck boosters when you can. Increasing your luck means you’re more likely to get rarer items, including Relics. Don’t forget to equip Lure to raise your efficiency and luck too.
