Got into the Wuthering Waves Beta test but not sure which characters are best? Have a read of our Wuthering Waves tier list to see the rankings so far!

Wuthering Waves Tier List

With the game being in a Beta state right now, many players are looking for character rankings. Due to the Beta test, there are only so many characters available to try out, so additional names will be added to the tiers below when they are available.

S Tier

The best characters to obtain in Wuthering Waves! Dare I say the ‘meta’ characters as of right now?

• Anke
• Jiyan
• Encore
• Jueyuan
• Mortefi

A Tier

The characters in this tier would be S-tier if they didn’t have a few more weaknesses. Don’t get me wrong though, A-tier characters are well worth upgrading and utilising.

• Sanhua
• Chixia
• Taoqi
• Danjin
• Yangyang
• Bailian
• Yinlin
• Verina

B Tier

I suggest only relying on these characters when you haven’t obtained an A-tier or S-tier character yet. They’re fine, but I wouldn’t stick with them after I get a better option via the gacha banner.

• Aalto
• Baizhi
• Rover (Female)
• Yuanwu

C Tier

These characters should only be used when you have literally no others (or just D-tier characters).

• Rover (Male)

D Tier

The weakest characters in Wuthering Waves. Don’t even bother taking them into battle…

• There are no characters in the lowest tier right now!
