This upcoming Roblox games of the week feature was created on January 09th, 2024. Now, without further ado, let’s share our faves and list why they made our list. Don’t worry, we know you might not share our opinions, but hopefully, you either agree with our choices or find a new game to try. If you don’t, please come back next week for our new selection of games!
Swordburst 3
Wow! Okay, this game has stunning graphics so I’m slotting it in first for this week’s URGOTW. Swordburst 3 is the third entry into this franchise and is a little bit like Sword Art Online if it wasn’t entirely mid (sorry not sorry). Your goal is to complete quests, get loot and move across the different floors of foes to some unknown goal. The thing that sets Swordburst 3 apart from other RPG games is its stunning level and mob design. I mean seriously, just look at the attached screenshot.
Obby But You’re On a Bike
This game does what it says on the tin. Obby But You’re On a Bike is a parkour-style game where you must complete various jumps and tricks to reach the next level… Except you’re strapped to a bike! I have always been a fan of Obby games, especially titles such as Rage Runner, but something about having to reconsider stunts and certain platforms just because I was surgically strapped to the metal frame of a bike adds to the fun of this game.
Islands
If you’re familiar with Minecraft, specifically Skyblock MC then you’re on the money for what Islands is all about. Defying all laws you’re plunged thousands of feet into the sky on a floating island. With a newfound passion for crafting, building, toolsmithing and a hint of magic, you get stuck into this game. Islands lets you team up with friends to build something truly fantastic, or go entirely rogue and battle bosses solo so you don’t have to share any loot.
Lab Experiment
Ever wanted to be a lab rat? Lab Experiment is a fun multiplayer brain teaser. With friends or strangers, your only goal is to participate in each experiment and survive. Each experiment is absolute carnage and by the end of the game the playing grounds looks absurd. Black holes, rising lava, random spinning tiles. Lab Experiment is one wacky game and it is VERY fun.
Fabled Legacy
And finally, Fabled Legacy, a true homage to dungeon crawlers. Choose a class, create a dungeon lobby, enlist other crawlers and head inside. Slain and loot, equip your better kit, rinse and repeat! Despite the repetative nature of dungeon crawlers, Fabled Legacy must be laced with something because it’s truly one of a kind!
