The latest PUBG Mobile update has arrived, and it’s brought with it an absolute ton of content. So much so, that we thought we’d put together this little guide to round everything up. It includes patch notes, new event details, changes to maps, the new Royale Pass, and more. We’ll keep it updated each time there’s a new update too, so we recommend bookmarking this page and checking back.
PUBG Mobile is the small screen version of the battle royale shooter that started it all. It looks and plays largely similar to the original, but with touchscreen controls. All of your favourite maps, vehicles, weapons, upgrades, and more return. First person, third person, infinite cosmetic collectables – it’s got it all.

PUBG Mobile Update – 2.1 Patch Notes
PUBG Mobile update 2.1 launched yesterday, and brings with it a bunch of features, including a brand new mode, collaboration with the band BLACKPINK, and a whole new chat feature. That’s without mentioning minor tweaks, fixes, and updates here and there. Below, we round up all of the changes.
New Game Mode – Ancient Secret: Arise
There’s a brand new game mode that draws inspiration from Ancient Egypt of all places. It’s called ‘Ancient Secret: Arise’, and it challenges you to survive a sandstorm, battling a giant quicksand statue and mummy warriors. Survive, and you can get your hands on some treasure.
You can also participate in ‘Monument Tour’, which challenges you to enter the Emperor Temple, solve a puzzle, and then complete a trial. Do so for extra rewards!
PUBG Mobile Update 2.1 – BLACKPINK Collaboration
PUBG Mobile is hosting a virtual concert featuring the hit band BLACKPINK. It takes place between July 22-24 during its first run, and returns for a second on July 29-31.
Ultimate Arena
The Ultimate Arena does what it says on the tin. It takes place on the maps Erangel and Livik, and sees you try to survive four elimination rounds to see who can survive till the bitter end.
It runs from August 11, with no end date in sight. Perhaps around the time of the next patch?
New Royale Pass – Exo-Genesis
Of course, there’s a brand new Royale Pass dubbed ‘Exo-Genesis’. Expect new cosmetics and the likes.
