Go for the green multipliers
There are red gates and there are green gates. Red gates will send your line darting down, green ones will send it soaring up. Upwards is always the direction you want to be moving, so try and hit as many green gates as you can. As your price increases, you’ll get even more benefit from hitting the gates.
Watch out for other obstacles
There are plenty of other things to hit in the game, and you want to avoid all of them. Meteors are especially annoying once you get towards the stratosphere. If it isn’t a green gate, do everything you can to get away from it.
Check what’s ahead
There might be a 2x multiplier directly in front of you, but before you hit it check what’s farther on. Nabbing a 10x instead is obviously going to be much more helpful. Scan ahead whenever you can to try and figure out if there’s something more profitable waiting a little farther along.
Don’t be afraid to lose to gain
Sometimes you’re going to have to lose a bit of your profit to gain even more. It’s better to send your line downwards a little than hit a red gate and send it plummeting. The same goes for obstacles – hitting them will end your run, ducking under them will cost you a bit of cash but put you in a better position to earn more.
Don’t hit the buildings
The buildings are at the lower end of the levels, and you should avoid hitting them at all costs. Like the other obstacles, they’re going to end your run, but also it’s just kind of embarrassing to hit them. Keep as high as you possibly can and you shouldn’t have any trouble with them.
