Do I recommend the Pixel Lineage Spear Class? Yes, but only for a specific Ultra Class. In Pixel Lineage, your base class evolves into a Super Class, which then upgrades into an Ultra Class. See where we’ve ranked the Spear class in Sho’s Pixel Lineage Classes Tier List.

Pixel Lineage Spear Class

The Spear class is one of Pixel Lineage’s latest additions, splitting into 3 new Super Classes: Halberdier, Valkyrie, and Dragoon.

The Dragoon class is by far the best Super Class to go for, but you need to level up your Spear class and reach Act 2 first.

In my opinion, if you’re going for the Spear class, you should be working towards unlocking the Dragonlord Ultra Class, as it’s currently one of, if not the best class in Pixel Lineage right now.

I’ve created a Pixel Lineage Ultra and Classes Tier List to help.

Unlocking Dragonlord

Now, to unlock an Ultra Class, you’re going to need an Ultra Sigil, specifically the Sigil of Dragonlord. This Sigil drops from Act 8 exclusively, though it’s super rare and is not guaranteed.

Once you’ve got the Ultra Class, you then need to collect multiple Tomes of Dragonlord to unlock all of the Dragonlord skills. These Tomes have a chance to drop from Act 6.

Dragonlord Skills

When you unlock the Dragonlord Ultra Class, you can wield these skills in battle.

• Dragon Dive
  • Inflicts enemies with the Burn debuff for 2 turns
  • Scales with the Strength stat
  • Costs 6 Energy
• Wyrm Impaler
  • Deals DMG to the enemy, piercing through 30% of their armor
  • Scales with the Strength stat
  • Costs 7 Energy
• Dragon’s Blood
  • Grants the Inspire buff for 3 turns, replenishing up to 20% of your Maximum HP, and increasing your DMG by 70% for 3 turns
  • Scales with the Faith stat
  • Costs 4 Energy

Should I Unlock the Dragonborn Race Too?

The Dragonborn race works great with the Dragonlord class, but it isn’t a necessity.

If you do manage to roll the Dragonborn race, you can then evolve into the Kindled and Exalted variants.

The third, which is exclusive to the Dragonborn race, has not been added to the game yet.

Kindled requires a Heartblood, and Exalted requires an Heirloom. The third, once available, is also unlocked with an Heirloom.

Spear Super Classes

As mentioned, there are three Super Classes for the Spear base class. While I’ve gone into detail regarding the Dragoon class, I should also highlight the Valkyrie and Halberdier classes, too.

Unlocking a Super Class requires you to reach Act 2, where you visit the Trainer’s Shrine.

Valkyrie

The Valkyrie Super Class evolves into the Valhalla Ultra Class.

• Moves:
  • Winged Dive [Automatically unlocks]
  • Battle Hymn [Requires level 10]
  • Thunder Spear [Requires level 14]

Halberdier

The Halberdier Super Class evolves into the Warbringer Ultra Class.

• Moves:
  • Hook and Spike [Automatically unlocks]
  • Halberd Cleave [Requires level 10]
  • Headsman’s Swing [Requires level 14]

Dragoon

The Dragoon Super Class evolves into the Dragonlord Ultra Class.

• Moves:
  • Jump [Automatically unlocks]
  • Dragon Lance [Requires level 10]
  • Highwind [Requires level 14]
