Upcoming Updates
According to the official events page, the next update for Anomaly Cafe is scheduled for:
Saturday October 17th
The upcoming update ‘The Halloween Update’ is on the way mid-October, though details are pretty sparse right now.
Latest Update
The latest released update, the Quality Of Life update, arrived on the 3rd of October, and brought with it the following changes to the game.

End Of Afterlife
Afterlife event is over. That manes no more Afterlife Crate. Also no more Bloodmoon event either. You can still get the Afterlife skins with Bells.
Fall Event
The Fall Event is here. You need to complete special customers with the leaf icon above their heads to earn event currency.
Lobby Changes
The Afterlife server is now the VC server. The regular lobby now has a Fall look.
Quickplay Changes
Quickplay now extends across all servers, so you should find a match more quickly.
New Skins
Two new Fall-themed skins.
- Arctic Fox (Mr Wolfgang)
- Cosy Ant (Lemon)
Minor Changes
- Quest Items no longer take and inventory slot.
- Better controller support.
Fixes
- Fixed minigames blocking CCTV.
- Fixed star rating animation errors.
- Fixed classes that aren’t supposed to use certain weapons being able to use them.
- Fixed Bonny dying in tutorial softlock.
- Fixed quest item duplication bug.
- Fixed anomaly T-posing.

October 3rd QoL Update
Plate Polishing
Plate polishing has returned after the mechanic was fixed and sped up.
HUD Changes
You’ll now see HUD arrows for breakages.
Day 2 Changes
Few customers for Say 2.
Performance Mode
Added a Low Graphics Mode for slower devices.
Afterlife Changes
You now have an option to escape if you’re struggling.
Visual Improvements
Improved visuals, animations and icons.
Bug Fixes

September 27th – Afterlife Update Part 2

Complete a hidden quest to unlock The Watcher.

September 20th – Afterlife Update
- New Maps
- Two new maps.
- Afterlife Crate
- A new gacha crate that you can buy with Bells, or get free spins on by completing daily quests. Spin on it for Bells, or exclusive skins.
- New SkinsFive new skins.
- Ghostly King
- Living Tombstone (Jim-Jam)
- Ghostly Server (Lemon)
- Mourning Sheep (Mellow)
- Missing Cat (Aza)
- New Death Cutscene
- New ending if you die from Sanity loss.
September 5th
New Characters
The update introduced 3 new characters to the game.
- Aza
- A black cat with passives that lets them move, clean, and cook faster from the start. Also has an active ability to boost cleaning speed.
- Chipper
- A Robux-only candy-themed cat. Chipper comes with a Party Popper and makes better Party Popper tips. Their active ability gives a buff to nearby teammates by motivating them.
- Mellow
- A whipped cream-themed sheep staff member. Cleans a little faster and earns more tips. Gets bonus earnings from dishes with whipped cream in. Has a passive aura ability that increases your team’s earnings too.
New Dish
The Croissant
New Minigames
- Dishwashing – Make sure to clean up the dirty dishes after customers are done. (This might be currently on hold for rebalancing.)
- Croissant Making – To match the new dish.
Litter
Inconsiderate customers might leave litter around after leaving. Make sure it’s cleaned up to keep your review score high.
Player Journal
Keep track of anomalies and see a record of your progress with the new journal feature.
Character Skins
Now characters will have some cosmetic variants. Currently the new skins available are:
- Whimsy (King)
- Maid (Mr Wolfgang)
- Fortune Cat (Lemon)
- Butler (Mellow)
New NPCS
The town got a few new residents.
- Banti – An NPC that comes with some interesting, and ominous information for you.
- Ian and Matteo – Suppliers. Keep an eye out for them when new features come in.
- Tobi – The Health Inspector. He’ll come and check that the cafe is up to standard. A bad rating from him can be a disaster.
New Anomalies
…and some slightly weirder new residents.
- Mishy – A black cat that will interfere with your equipment until she’s dealt with.
- Glorp – A monster that will steal your sugar bag. Make sure to grab it back!
