The studio behind Habroxia, Super Perils of Baking, and Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege, Lillymo Games, is bringing some Game Boy nostalgia with the Green Series. They just announced the first game in the series called Ravenous Greed.
Ravenous Greed is coming to PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC in early 2027. A demo is also coming soon to Steam. Lillymo Games plans to release several entries under the Green Series, with each game introducing new IP and reimagining it with Game Boy-like style.
Ravenous Greed puts you in a normal and relatable situation
You’re trapped inside a raven’s body after an enchanted artefact curses the hero, Pacer. So, now Pacer has to somehow get his human form back, and the solution involves becoming ridiculously rich. He needs to gather treasures and fill up his vault with coins.
Mostly a retro platformer, Ravenous Greed is also a shoot ’em up, rhythm game, skateboarding game, cooking game, arcade collection, and bird simulator. It includes humour, wild characters, and plenty of collectible treasures.
You’ll jump, flap, swoop, and dodge through the game while collecting coins, unlocking new abilities, and upgrading your stats. That will help keep expanding Pacer’s nest and also recruit his minions. The game has 21 unique stages as of now.
There are traditional platforming stages and shoot ’em up-style sections. You’ll also find cooking mini-games, rhythm-based gameplay sections, skateboarding stages, shooting galleries, boss encounters, and other arcade-style games.
Between missions, Pacer can return to his base, where you can rebuild his nest and interact with a bunch of unique characters. You can also play mini-games for more coins and spend resources on abilities and stat upgrades.
