Lemonade Apocalypse is the ultimate lesson you can learn about business. It’s the diary of a billionaire and teaches you what to do when life has only lemons for you. Publisher Pantaloon unveiled the game during the recent PC Gaming Show.
They dropped an announcement trailer introducing the game from developer Adventales. Lemonade Apocalypse is an indie simulation and incremental clicker about starting with nothing but your mom’s lemonade recipe and a table in the front yard. Your goal is to turn that tiny operation into a global business.
Selling lemonade can’t be critical, right?
It does start as a harmless activity, but then it ends with you manipulating politics and controlling the weather because your lemonade company needs better margins. Who knows, it might lead to you becoming a billionaire or even the world’s first trillionaire!
Click to make lemonade, sell it, buy better ingredients, make better lemonade, raise your prices, make more profit, hire people, build a factory and keep expanding. The little front-yard setup becomes a mass-produced lemonade operation with carefully optimized margins for a global rollout.
There are more than 70 ingredients in Lemonade Apocalypse. Every ingredient has stats that interact with the others, including sell speed, demand influence, volume consumption, weather reactions and even hidden political ideology scores.
That simulation reacts to your pricing, the weather and even the political fallout coming from your factory. Sales slow down when it rains and jump when the sun comes out. You can’t control the weather, though. Or can you?
If the market isn’t cooperating with your growth plans, well, maybe you should just change the market!
Lemonade Apocalypse is not an ordinary incremental business simulator. You can manipulate the climate, influence geopolitical events, manipulate the electorate, run for president and whatnot. Also, you can remove heaters, cut breaks and lower wages to protect your bottom line.
