The first Legendary Aniimo Irisalis is coming soon to the game, but you need to collect Irisalis Petals for the correct Aniipod. To start working towards this Aniimo, complete various tasks and milestones to gather the petals.

Once you catch Irisalis, you’ll unlock the Aniimo Transmog feature, which requires Radiant Dreamshadow and Glimmering Driftshadows. The Transmog feature allows you to change the appearance of Irisalis, such as its colour, headwear, wings, body, and sparkling effect.

Aniimo Irisalis

Irisalis is the first Legendary Aniimo and, at the time of publishing this guide, is not yet obtainable. However, you can work towards collecting Irisalis by taking part in the Trail of Butterfly Shadows event. The second chapter of this event unlocks on the 25th September. So, for now, all you can do is collect Irisalis Petals passively by playing the game.

How to Get Irisalis

You need to collect Irisalis Petals so that you can craft the exclusive Legendary Aniipod. It’s unclear as of right now how many Irisalis Petals we need, but from the 25th September, the Weekly Rotation option unlocks, which presumably offers more ways of obtaining Irisalis Petals.

Ideally, you should focus on collecting as many petals as possible before the second part of the event begins. Luckily, it seems like the petals will be permanently available to collect, and there are milestones to reach, each of which rewards you with Glimmer. The final milestone at this time is 80 Irisalis Petals, rewarding you with 200 Glimmer.

Main Story

12 Irisalis Petals are available by progressing through the Main Story quests.

Journey Quests

Much like side quests, completing Journey Quests rewards you with up to 10 Irisalis Petals.

Branch Nurture

The more you Nurture the Breezy Plains Branch, the more Irisalis Petals you can obtain, with 18 to collect in total. To Nurture a Branch, you need Lumen Amber. There are various ways to get Lumen Amber, most notably by collecting Lumen Energy as you explore Idyll. You can also repair Vein nodes in sanctums, and defeat Alpha and Omega Aniimo.

Aniimo Topic

Unlocking Aniimo Topics via your Aniilog grants up to 16 Irisalis Petals. For this, you just need to catch Aniimos of different forms.

Gathering

There are 8 Irisalis Petals to find in the wild. When you spot them, interact to gather the item.

Defeating an Alpha Aniimo for the first time rewards you with Irisalis Petals. There are 17 to collect via this method. Alpha Aniimo are minibosses that are slightly more challenging to defeat than regular Aniimo. You can also catch Alpha Aniimo to add to your team.

Silver Badges

Obtaining Silver Badges unlocks Irisalis Petals, with 14 to obtain in total.

Tracing the Trail

Progress through the Tracing the Trail: The Shadow of Legend event to earn 5 Irisalis Petals.

Elite Pathfinder Challenge

While this method grants 7 Irisalis Petals, you first need to complete the Dewdrop Crystals of the Sea of Flowers Main Story quest to unlock this feature.
