Blossom: The Seed of Life just got a major update that adds a co-op feature to the game. Solo developer Thorin from Pebbledust Games and publisher Pretty Soon have launched the Together on Mars update.
It brings full four-player online co-op to Blossom: The Seed of Life
The game released in March 2026, and it’s already dropping new features that are surely lucrative enough. It lets you bring a dead planet back to life. You explore ruins, gather resources, print machines, build bases, drive modular vehicles, automate factories and turn the barren planet into an actual ecosystem.
This time, that planet is Mars. The Together on Mars update now lets you drag up to three friends into the process. The best part? You can play the entire Blossom campaign together from beginning to end. You and your friends can explore Mars, discover new life and complete the whole story together.
The progression is shared across the world, too. So, buildings, machines, automation, terraforming, power and water networks, research, objectives, vehicles, and even the ending all belong to the same shared world.
At the same time, everyone still gets to keep their own stuff. Your backpack, equipment, appearance and achievements stay yours. Also, you can customise your Blossom’s suit colours to tell everyone apart.
Co-op in Blossom: The Seed of Life lets players create completely new stories rather than just survive Mars together. Yes, you get that liberty, which is why this update is so much fun in the first place. Meanwhile, existing saves are fully supported, so you can load your current world, open it to co-op and keep going.
Together on Mars is available now on Steam as a free update for all owners of Blossom: The Seed of Life. One person acts as the host and runs the world simulation, while up to three other players can join through Steam invites.
