For their upcoming title, developer and publisher Rocket Adrift Games is taking inspiration from classic anime Akira and mixing it up with Metal Gear Solid 2. SHE: Seraphim Helix Experiment is their upcoming game, which is an old-school survival horror title.
The game takes place in the near future, right as the world’s major powers are teetering on the edge of an all-out war. Deep inside a frozen missile silo, an ancient entity has been unearthed and is being kept suspended at the bottom of the facility
You play as Robin, a lead researcher carrying a mysterious new life in her belly. She finds herself trapped inside the silo in the Alaskan Archipelago. Apart from her and the angelic entity, the underground base has a mutating personnel.
The Sergeant constantly keeps feeding you orders. Plus, there’s also an eerie voice singing through the walls. The staff and military personnel have transformed into horrifying abominations that now wander the corridors in a murderous fugue state.
Meanwhile, the base itself is falling apart. Systems are malfunctioning, critical infrastructure is breaking down, and a launch directive from Central Command that keeps repeating over and over again. The only guidance comes from voices over the radio and Robin’s own instincts.

In the missile silo, you can move through non-linear areas, deal with traps, avoid hazards or even turn those hazards against enemies. You can use gadgets to get past hostile creatures, malfunctioning automated turrets, and the increasingly broken systems holding the facility together.
SHE: Seraphim Helix Experiment mixes tactical stealth action with survival horror. It uses a unique low-poly 3D art style and, of course, Akira-like visuals. It features both third-person and first-person combat options and includes multiple endings. You can wishlist it on Steam now.
