Minimol Games has confirmed that Case Solved: The London Files is coming not just to PC. The platforms it’s coming to now include iOS and Android devices, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
The game will release next month, July 2026. The game is a cartoon-style version of 1960s London. Every investigation functions as a closed logic puzzle, similar to classic Zebra puzzles. You interrogate suspects, collect statements, examine crime scenes, uncover hidden clues, and spot contradictions in people’s stories.
London is dealing with a string of murders, and Scotland Yard needs help
Case Solved: The London Files takes you across London’s famous Big Smoke through three hand-crafted cases. Taking inspiration from classic 1960s detective stories, each case takes place in a recognisable part of the city.
The first case is Fatal Chord, set in Soho at a local pub. People find an American musician strangled in a back alley shortly after finishing his final performance. Nothing was stolen, making it clear that robbery wasn’t the motive.
The second case, Last Act, moves to the West End and a theatre preparing for opening night. During the final rehearsal, the leading actress suddenly collapses dead on stage. The atmosphere backstage suggests something sinister has happened.
The third case is Stolen Time and takes place in Westminster around Big Ben. On a night, every clock mysteriously stops at exactly the same moment. And the master clockmaker responsible for Big Ben is discovered unconscious beneath the tower.
The Case Solved: The London Files demo is already out
It includes the complete first case, Fatal Chord, spread across five stages. You also get to try out the Secret Files codes feature, which unlock extra bonus puzzles. Head over to Steam to try the demo for free.
