Rebel Wolves has teamed up with Bandai Namco Entertainment America for The Blood of Dawnwalker. A dark fantasy open-world Action RPG, it’s coming to PC and consoles on September 3rd, 2026. The team just dropped the Road to Launch event and gave a glimpse into its gameplay.

The game will release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You’ll get a bunch of options in addition to the standard digital edition. There’s the Day One Edition and the Eclipse Edition. The latter includes digital bonuses, such as a world compendium, game soundtrack, and a comic book.
Now, the latest story trailer introduces a bunch of characters whom the protagonist, Coen, runs into. It takes place in Vale Sangora, which is in the Carpathian Mountains. A mysterious region with vampires running around, it’s full of ancient secrets. Watch the trailer right below!
The game seems very narrative-heavy, where you’re exploring a lot, unlocking abilities alongside. Set in 14th-century Europe, there are wars everywhere, and the black death is wiping people out. And on top of all that, vampires come out of hiding, start taking power, and other creatures of the night follow along.
So, you play as Coen in The Blood of Dawnwalker. He has turned into a Dawnwalker, which means he’s stuck between being human and being a vampire. So, he’s got strengths and weaknesses from both sides. During the day, you’re more human, while at night, you’re more vampire.
Your main goal is trying to save your family from the vampire lord Brencis, who rules over Vale Sangora. You can focus on taking revenge, or focus on saving your family, or just do whatever you want in between. You can go solo or try to find allies, even if those alliances are kind of sketchy.
