Determined to get Dark Determination in Bizarre Lineage? It’s a grind, but once you unlock it, you’ll be even more powerful in both Bizarre Lineage‘s PvE and PvP combat.

The final step in the quest is to Prestige – if you haven’t reached Prestige yet, read my guide on how to do it and what it requires.

Bizarre Lineage Dark Determination

Complete the quest and meet the requirements to unlock Dark Determination

Dark Determination Quest

To unlock the quest, you need to teleport to Bus Stop 14 and head to the beach. You can get to the beach by heading to the left of the bus stop spawn point.

The Determination NPC stands on this beach, whom you can speak with to start the quest. After talking to him, he makes you aware of the 7 requirements.

Requirements

After completing all of these requirements, you can continue with the quest to unlock Dark Determination. Keep in mind that these requirements can take a while and are quite the grind.

Selflessness

• Defeat Yoshikage Kira (Bites the Dust) while using the Bloodlust Perk

Purchase the Bloodlust Perk for 5 Shards from the Prestige Shop. You earn 5 Shards each time you increase your Prestige level. Then, head to the Yoshikage Kira NPC and summon the raid.

Luckily, it’s just the boss fight you need to complete with the Perk, so you can always equip it just before he spawns.

Reticence

• Win a 1v1 battle while your HP is above 90%

You have to make sure your HP is above 90% when you win the battle. If it’s below 90%, you’ll have to try again.

Piety

• Win 3 Gang Wars

To take part in Gang Wars, you must be part of a Gang. You can either create your own or be invited to someone else’s.

Faith

• Defeat The Self (your clone in your Inner World) while your HP is at 5% or below

To enter your Inner World, visit Jojo’s Bizarre Gym and interact with one of the gym mats to ‘Meditate’.

Hate

• Successfully Grip and defeat 5 members of your Gang

Find members of your Gang and ask if you can defeat them. I’m sure they won’t mind.

Purity

• Win a 1v1 battle 5 consecutive times

This isn’t too tricky, but it does require you to garner a winning streak.

Repose

• Defeat 100 players who are above level 40

This involves seeking out level 40+ players, which shouldn’t be too difficult. However, players of this level are pretty strong and may have acquired a powerful Stand in the meantime.

You can probably get a friend to help you with this task. If they’re above level 40, then you can ask to defeat them 100 times in total to speed the process a bit.

Second Half of the Quest

Increase Your Prestige Level

Once you complete the requirements above, you can speak with the Determination NPC again. He asks you to Prestige before you can continue.

To Prestige, you need to reach level 50 and spend 10K cash when visiting the Arch Mage NPC in the hospital near Bus Stop 10. You can Prestige as many times as you want, but it does reset your player level, stat points, fighting styles, and sub-abilities.

You’ll have already unlocked at least one Prestige level for the above requirements, as you need 5 Shards to purchase the Bloodlust Perk from the Prestige Shop.

Unlocking Dark Determination

As soon as you level up your Prestige one more time, you instantly unlock the Edict, Dark Determination. Your name on the server list even turns blue to show off your skills.
