Deep under Terrapin Island in Fisch is the Passage of Oaths, but before you can get there, you need to unlock the Cultist Lair and obtain the Fisch Key of Oaths. This is the third area in the lair, and to reach the second, you will need to get the Fisch Key of Whispers to unlock the Hall of Whispers.

How to Get The Fisch Key of Oaths

The only way to get the Key of Oaths is by fishing one up from inside the Hall of Whispers area in the Cultist Lair, but be prepared, it’s hard to come by. It is of exotic rarity, so you’ll need a lot of luck to reel one in.

To increase your chances of catching one, make sure you fish during the day, as that is its preference.

Why Do You Need the Key of Oaths?

There are multiple sub-locations inside the Cultists Lair, but to reach these, you need to unlock the doors leading to them. Using the Key of Oaths inside the Hall of Whispers allows you to unlock the Passage of Oaths.

However, there are a few other items you need to get alongside the Key of Oaths if you want to reach the Passage of Oaths. They are the following:

• x1 Darkened Ancient Wood
  • You can catch Ancient Wood in Sunstone.
  • You can get the Darkened Mutation from appraisal, a Blackout event, the Noir Enchantment, Duskwire Rod, or naturally.
• x1 Shiny Enchant Relic
  • You can obtain an Enchant Relic by fishing, Treasure Chests, the Daily Shop, and Aquarium rewards.
  • You can get the Shiny Mutation from appraisal, Shiny events, the Blessed and Glittered Enchantment, the Destiny, Seraphic, and Axe of Rhoads rod, or the Pilaris Serenade and Chrysalis passive.

Reaching the Passage of Oaths

Once you have the Key of Oaths, Darkened Ancient Wood, and a Shiny Enchant Relic, you can unlock the door in the Hall of Whispers to the Passage of Oaths. This is the third area in the Cultists Lair, and is home to the Talk, Sythra, and Varn NPCs.
