If you want something specific to aim for during gameplay, it’s worth picking up one of the Fisch Angler Quests, as when you complete one, you can get a variety of rewards to help you in your Fisch gameplay. One of the rewards is the Fisch Shark Whistle, a crucial item to obtain if you like Shark Hunts.

Fisch Angler Quests

You can find the Angler NPC in most locations, including Moosewood, Sunstone, Roslit, Terrapin, the Ancient Isles, and The Depths. To start a quest, simply interact with him.

How To Get An Angler Quest

When speaking to him, he will give you a quest to catch a specific fish. Don’t worry if you forget what he asked for, as you’ll be able to see the quest on the top left-hand side of your screen. Once you catch the required fish, you can hand it back to any of the Angler NPCs, so you don’t have to trek back to the one who gave it to you.

Any variation of the fish counts towards the quest. For example, if he asks you to catch a salmon, but you end up getting a shiny salmon, that still counts! Keep in mind that when you hand the Angler your fish, he will keep it.

After you finish the quest, you’ll be put on a cooldown before you can pick up another. You’ll know when you can, as a message pops up on your screen letting you know that the Angler has a job for you. When that happens, go and speak to him.
