The infamous Jump Rope game has arrived in Ink Game. In season 3 of Squid Game, the participants must go from one end to the other by walking across a thin platform, all the while jumping over the rope that swings around.

How to Beat Jump Rope

The Jump Rope game is all about perfecting your timing. One wrong move and the rope can knock you off your feet, sending you flying to the ground. The main difference between the Ink Game and Squid Game versions of Jump Rope is that Ink Game features a wind mechanic.

When the wind activates, you need to keep the triangle icon in the middle to combat the breeze by utilising the A and D keys on your keyboard. When your character leans to the right, spam the A key, but if you lean to the left, spam the D key.

If you do not keep the triangle in the middle, you can lose your balance, which results in your falling off the platform. You have to be quick with this, because if the triangle reaches the end of the bar, you immediately fall off, and it’s game over. You only have one chance! That is, unless you have a spare Revive.

I recommend not going first, so that you can practice your timing by watching the rope and jumping in place. There’s also a gap in the middle of the platform, which you must jump over whilst trying to avoid the rope.

The most difficult part of the Jump Rope game isn’t getting the timing right with the jumps; it’s the Triangle mini-game.
