The best potions to craft in Dead Rails!

S Tier

• Angel Tears
  • You can’t go wrong with a potion that replenishes your HP! Yes, you can use bandages and snake oil, but the Angel Tears potion heals you by a sufficient amount, making it a useful addition to your inventory
  • You need Unicorn Blood and Blood to make this potion
    • Blood is one of the easiest liquids to get as it drops from most enemies

A Tier

• Holy Water
  • Holy Water summons green flames that deal AoE damage to enemies that come into contact with the liquid
  • While Holy Water isn’t a new item in the game, you can now craft it yourself! Before the Liquid update, the only way of obtaining it was by finding bottles of Holy Water around the map, particularly in the church. Now, you can make your very own!
    • Use Water and Unicorn Blood to craft the Holy Water potion

B Tier

• Primordial Soup
  • The main benefit of crafting and using the Primordial Soup potion is that you can reanimate dead enemies to fight alongside you. This is useful, of course, but it largely depends on which enemies you choose to reanimate. Yes, they can help you in combat, but if they’re weak, then they will be easily defeated, thus wasting the potion
  • You must use Milk and Unicorn Blood to craft Primordial Soup
    • Milk is a liquid that randomly spawns in various locations, but if you unlock the Milkman class, or someone in your team is a Milkman, it’s much easier to obtain the liquid for potion crafting

C Tier

• Devil Tears
  • Now, I’m not saying Devil Tears is a bad potion; it’s actually pretty strong! But compared to the others, it’s sadly at the bottom of my priority list when it comes to crafting. Upon use, you create an AoE pool of flammable liquid. The thing is, you need to make sure you have something in your inventory that allows you to ignite the pool, otherwise, it’s useless
  • Collect Kerosene and Unicorn Blood to craft the Devil Tears potion
