So, you’re working through your Hollow/Soul Reaper progression, but you want to know how far you’ve gotten? You can actually double-check your progress by talking to a certain NPC in Karakura Town.

Where to Find V

This NPC is called V, though his full name is ‘V – Unequaled Unrivaled’. He stands in the middle of a warehouse building, specifically on the top floor. But first, you need to make it to the more desolate and gloomy side of Karakura Town.

If you’re not sure who to look for, keep an eye out for an NPC with black hair. V likes to stand next to a pile of metal pipes and a wooden crate. Once you spot him, you can go over to speak with him. Depending on how far you’ve gotten with your Full Res or your Bankai, he has various responses hidden up his sleeve.

Unequaled Unrivaled Progress

• 0% Progress
  • “You will never become anything, compared to what I am”
• 20% Progress
  • “A couple of kills won’t get you anywhere, stop bothering me”
• 40% Progress
  • “Why do you keep coming back? You’re still pathetic”
• 60% Progress
  • “Maybe you’re not so bad after all. But I’m still not impressed”
• 80% Progress
  • “You’re quite unbelievable, you know that?”
• 100% Progress
  • “Unequaled Unrivaled. Go make me proud, lil bro”

As you can tell, you’re aiming for the quote displayed at 100%. Once you know where to find V, you can keep checking back every now and again as you play to keep track of your progress. When you eventually get to 100%, you can move on to stage 2 of your Full Res or Bankai progression.
