Just which of the races in Murim Cultivation is best? Well, that’s the exact question that our Murim Cultivation race tier list is here to answer. In this guide, I’ll rank all of the races from best to worst to help you determine which one to aim to unlock via a race reroll. I’ll also update this guide whenever a new race is introduced, or if anything changes via a rebalance.
It’s worth mentioning that this list is somewhat subjective, as the best race depends on the build you’re aiming for, but it should help give you a general idea of where to start.
Murim Cultivation is a Roblox RPG that sees you becoming a master martial artist. You create a character, battle enemies to increase your power, and grow crops that you can sell to purchase further upgrades. If you’d like to learn more, check it out on Roblox. I’ve also put together a complete Murim Cultivation races guide to help you further.
Murim Cultivation Race Tier List
Now, let’s rank all of the races from best to worst.
S Tier
The best races. If you unlock one, don’t reroll.
- Dragon
A Tier
Solid options that, while not quite as strong as the best, are perfectly decent options to stick with.
- Dwarf
B Tier
These are great in niche builds but are otherwise not worth sticking with.
- Elf
C Tier
Average races that are neither great nor bad. Still, they’re not the worst.
- Lizardman
- Neko
D Tier
The worst races in the game.
- Human
Why is Dragon the Best?
Dragon is objectively the best race in the game as it has the best overall stats in the game, and is a perfect option for any build.
However, it does have weaknesses. It’s the joint-slowest race along with Humans, and falls just short of Elf in terms of its QI score. So, if you’re focusing on a QI or speed build, you might want to opt for another race.
QI builds should probably still stick with Dragon though, as its vastly-improved damage and health stats over Elf will make up for the very slight QI boost you gain as an Elf.
Meanwhile, its health is on-par with the Dwarf, which shares this stat as the joint-best.
Dragon isn’t so OP that it makes all other races useless, but it’s pretty close. If you get Dragon, I would strongly encourage you to stick with it no matter your build.
Why is Human the Worst?
To be clear, there are no bad races in Murim Cultivation, only races that are better than others. Human is objectively the worst merely due to its stats, which are base.
It has the lowest speed, damage, health, and QI buffs in the game, though it shares these low stats with other races. Every other race has at least one, if not two, stats that beat the human.
So, in short, it’s not a bad race, but if you unlock literally any other, you should stick with them over human no matter your build.
Why is Dwarf Better Than Elf?
This is where we get into somewhat subjective territory, though I’m fairly confident in my belief that the Dwarf is just a much better overall race.
While it’s true that the Elf has the best QI score in the game, and you should stick with it if you plan on using a QI build, the Dwarf’s stats are much more well-rounded. It has the second best speed, joint-best health, and second best damage of all races.
Its only weakness, in fact, is its base QI stat. So, the only reason not to stick with Dwarf if you reroll it is if you’re building a QI-focused character.
The Elf, on the other hand, is only useful for QI-characters. It has marginally more speed than a few of the other races, but has otherwise the same stats as the Human.
What’s the Deal With Lizardmen and Neko?
These are just average races that offer a boost over Human, but pale in comparison to the others.
The Neko does have the best speed buff in the game, so it has that going for it, but given that speed isn’t a particularly useful stat for combat, it isn’t all that helpful.
Lizardman, meanwhile, has a boost in damage and speed over Human, but it’s very marginal.
Again, neither of these races are bad, they’re just not particularly great either.
