Yet another new indie project is coming to Steam. Called Rogue Slime: PC Edition, it’s developed and published by Quest Seeker Games. The game is already available on mobile (both iOS and Android), where it was launched almost two years ago.

It brings turn-based combat with roguelite progression

In Rogue Slime: PC Edition, the system revolves around how you use energy and not just what abilities you pick. Your equipped items don’t just sit there waiting for manual activation. Instead, you feed energy into them during combat.

And once they’re fully charged, they trigger automatically. So, fights need planning for how your setup will play out over several turns. It depends on building synergies between items, managing your resources carefully, and adjusting your strategy.

Outside of combat, the game has a classic roguelite loop. You move through semi-procedural, node-based maps filled with encounters, random events, treasure chests, shops, blacksmiths, and resource spots.

Random events can push you into risk and reward situations, offer item upgrades, or force choices that either strengthen your current build or completely change how it works.

Between runs, you head back to a village that acts as your long-term progression hub. This is where you can upgrade your starting slime, unlock new buildings like the tavern, pick your base slime, and expand systems that carry over into future attempts.

Rogue Slime: PC Edition includes multiple classes with different playstyles. It also brings a wide range of items, perks that you pick during level-ups, and plenty of synergy between perks and item effects. The intention is to make no two runs quite the same.

Rogue Slime: PC Edition has an adorable 3D, slimey visual style

The game is full of quirky characters and hidden secrets, which is one of the attractive factors of the game. Take a look at it here.

There’s no release date yet, but the Steam page is live and taking wishlists while development continues. You can also check out the game on the App Store or Google Play.
