If you want to play as Sukuna in Sailor Piece, you need to unlock the Sukuna V1 or the Sukuna V2 melee specs. Both require the defeat of bosses, and I bet you can guess which bosses they are. Find out if either of them is worth getting with my Sailor Piece Melee Tier List.

Sailor Piece Sukuna

How to unlock Sukuna V1 and Sukuna V2 (Strongest in History). I’ve even included a short introduction to both bosses at the bottom of this guide.

Unlocking Sukuna V1

First, let’s look into how to get the Sukuna V1 Melee Fighting Style. Head to Shibuya Station in search of the Sukuna Trainer NPC. You need a variety of items for the crafting requirements, but there is also a short questline featuring three tasks.

Crafting Requirements

The necessary items:

  • 3x Dismantle Fangs
    • 8% chance to drop from the Sukuna boss at Shibuya Station
  • 1x Crimson Heart
    • 2.5% chance to drop from the Sukuna boss at Shibuya Station
  • 6x Cursed Fingers
    • 20% chance to drop from the Sukuna boss at Shibuya Station
  • 5K Gems
  • 1.25 million Gold

Questline

The three quests you need to complete to unlock the Sukuna V1 spec fully.

  1. Deal a total of 35 million DMG
  2. Defeat 25 players
  3. Defeat the Sukuna boss 15 times

How to Get Sukuna V2 (Strongest in History)

To start, make your way to Shinjuku Island and find the Strongest in History Trainer NPC.

Crafting Requirments

These requirements differ slightly from Sukuna V1.

  • 3x Malevolent Soul
    • 2% to 3% chance to drop from the Strongest in History boss on Shinjuku Island
  • 1x Cursed Flesh
    • 0.65% to 0.9% chance to drop from the Strongest in History boss on Shinjuku Island
  • 7x Vessel Rings
    • 6% to 8% chance to drop from the Strongest in History boss on Shinjuku Island
  • Eat 20x Awakened Cursed Fingers
    • 15% to 25% chance to drop from the Strongest in History boss on Shinjuku Island
  • Disgraced One (Title)
    • 1% to 1.5% chance to drop from the Strongest in History boss on Shinjuku Island
    • Increases DMG by 50%

After handing in all of the required items, obtaining the Disgraced One title, and eating 20 Awakened Cursed Fingers, the Strongest in History Trainer NPC rewards you with the Sukuna V2 Melee Fighting Style, also known as the Strongest in History melee spec. No quest completion required.

Required Bosses

Whether you’re working towards Sukuna V1 or Strongest in History (Sukuna V2), you need to battle a couple of bosses. Before you face these foes, I’ve written the most important bits of info you should know.

Sukuna

Much easier than the Strongest in History boss. Sukuna is a requirement, as he has a chance to drop the Malevolent Key item, which spawns Sukuna V2.

Location

Unlike the Strongest in History boss, you don’t need to spawn Sukuna with an item. He spawns at Shibuya Station every 7 minutes and 30 seconds with 5 million HP.

Drops
  • Crimson Heart
    • 2.5% drop chance
  • Cursed Finger
    • 20% drop chance
  • Sukuna Collar
    • 4% drop chance
  • Curse King (Title)
    • 4% drop chance
  • Boss Ticket
    • 30% drop chance
  • Dismantle Fang
    • 8% drop chance
  • Malevolent Key
    • 30% drop chance
  • Trait Reroll
    • 32.5% drop chance
  • Dungeon Key
    • 20% drop chance
  • Haki Color Reroll
    • 60% drop chance
  • Race Reroll
    • 40% drop chance

Strongest in History

The Strongest in History boss starts with 150 million HP on Easy difficulty and maxes at 2.5 billion HP on Extreme difficulty.

How to Spawn

To spawn this boss, you need to use a Malevolent Key. This item drops from the Sukuna boss with a 30% chance. I’ve detailed some info about the V1 Sukuna boss above.

Drops
  • Disgraced One (Title)
    • 1% to 1.5% drop chance
  • Vessel Ring
    • 6% to 8% drop chance
  • Cursed Flesh
    • 2% to 3% drop chance
  • Awakened Cursed Finger
    • 15% to 25% drop chance
  • Divine Wheel
    • 1.25% to 2% drop chance
  • Malevolent Soul
    • 2% to 3% drop chance
