With it being one of the worst-looking fishing rods in the game, the Fisch Cinder Block Rod is both difficult and surprisingly easy to get. You just need to reach the required level! Levelling up in Fisch is easy once you have a decent enough rod, as well as completing Bestiary pages and quests. The Fisch Blue Moon event increases the EXP you earn by 50%!
Fisch Cinder Block Rod
While the Cinder Block rod requires you to reach an extremely high level in Fisch, it’s not very… aesthetically pleasing. Just as the name suggests, it’s literally a cement block on the top of a fishing rod.
How to Get the Cinder Block Rod in Fisch
To obtain the Cinder Block fishing rod for yourself, you need to reach player level 1,500. Like the Tryhard fishing rod, this is the only unlock requirement! However, reaching player level 1,500 is quite a feat considering how much time you have to spend in the game to do this. You don’t even need to spend any in-game coins!
Is the Cinder Block Rod Worth Getting?
Looking at the stats, it seems pretty good, right? Those 1,000% stat boosts are useful, but it’s when you look at the -50% Speed that it starts to seem a bit rocky. But the 0.7 Control stat means that the Cinder Block fishing rod has the highest Control of all rods in Fisch, at least at this current time. Does this high Control stat improve the -96% Progress Speed passive ability, though?
There are ways to increase a rod’s stats, such as Enchants. Any Enchantments that improve the Speed of the Cinder Block rod are a great option!
Stats
Are the stats for the Cinder Block fishing rod any good? Just don’t look at that Speed stat…
- Luck:
- 1,000%
- Speed:
- -50%
- Resilience:
- 1,000%
- Control:
- 0.7
- Maximum Weight:
- 100,000,000,000kg
Passive Abilities
When using the Cinder Block fishing rod, there is a 70% chance of applying the Cement mutation to the fish. This mutation increases the selling value of the fish by 1.03x! However, when playing the fishing mini-game, your Progress Speed reduces by 96%, making it pretty difficult to catch rarer fish that already have a reduced Progress Speed.
