Try catching a Fish It Megalodon next time you log into the game! To increase your chances of getting rare fish in Fish It, you can use Fish It Enchant Stones to add an enchantment to your fishing rod. Enchantments can buff the stats and effects of fishing rods depending on the one you roll when visiting the Enchantment Altar in the Esoteric Depths.

Fish It Megalodon

The Megalodon is a super-rare catch in Fish It! It’s only available for a limited time, whilst the Megalodon Hunt Fishing Events are occurring. These Fishing Events are part of the Megalodon Event, which means these Hunts will no longer be available once the Megalodon Event ends.

It’s considered a Secret Fish, much like the Lochness Monster, which was also added in the Megalodon update and the Ghost Worm Admin Event. As you can imagine, it sells for quite a lot of in-game currency. But some players opt to keep it around as it’s somewhat of a flex! It’s a limited-time fish, so once you can’t get it anymore, you can show it off to new players and those who weren’t lucky enough to get one themselves.

How to Get a Megalodon in Fish It

The only way to get a Megalodon in Fish It is by taking part in a Megalodon Hunt Fishing Event. Per Fishing Event, only one player can catch the Megalodon. Once someone catches it, the Fishing Event ends, and you need to wait for the next one.

When you’re in Fish It, you can see a label somewhere on the screen within the ocean. This indicates where the Megalodon Hunt Fishing Event has spawned. Make sure to spawn one of your boats first! Then, sail towards the area, which is designated by a rectangular box in the water.
