Our Absolvement Sins Tier List ranks all Sins in terms of how much you can benefit from them without too much of an effect on the overall difficulty of the game. When picking your Sins in Absolvement, you also need to choose your race. Read our Absolvement Race Tier List to see which come with the best passives and skills!
Absolvement Sins Tier List
Which Sins affect your gameplay the most?
S Tier
- Abomination
- With this Sin, you are affected by every other Sin in the game, but in return, you obtain 40% more Soul Fragments when you wipe. The only reason I was hesitant to put this Sin in the S-tier is because of the effects of having each Sin in the game, as that provides a ton of debuffs, making the game much more difficult. However, 40% more Soul Fragments makes it easier to unlock nodes on your Soul Tree…

- Slaughterer
- Whilst your Total Regen reduces 25%, DMG reduces by 10%, and your walking speed reduces by 10%, you can scrap these debuffs temporarily by defeating enemies. Upon killing an enemy, your Regen Rate increases by 5%, your overall DMG increases, and your walking speed increases by 2% for a duration

A Tier
- Chance
- The downside of the Chance Sin isn’t too bad! You’re 40% more likely to get Common and Uncommon drops, making it difficult to get rarer items. With just this Sin, you can get the base Soul Fragment multiplier, without too much effect on your overall gameplay. Even though you’ll obtain Common and Uncommon drops more often, you’ll still get rare drops eventually!

- Gluttony
- This Sin isn’t too difficult to manage. You just need to make sure there’s an item that your character can consume every 5 minutes; otherwise, they’ll start to eat themselves

- Judgement
- Whilst you cannot read key information, making it tricky to know all the details, you can use puzzle-solving skills to work it out. It adds an interesting challenge to the game!

- Theft
- The 10% chance of your Gold being stolen during events isn’t too high, so it’s unlikely, making it quite a good option for a Sin

B Tier
- Deceit
- You never know which NPCs are telling the truth, which enemies are actually real, and if shopkeepers are increasing their prices solely for you. It can make the game tricky when you can’t always get the information you need from NPCs

- Greed
- You have to pick the highest rarity Potential each roll to prevent Greed stacks, which permanently decrease your DMG and Armor

- Pride
- If you replenish HP that is equal to 60% of your maximum HP, you are inflicted with the Fragility debuff, which reduces future healing effects of skills, spells, and consumable items

- Wrath
- You take 25% more DMG from spells and melee attacks

C Tier
- Deserter
- Once your HP drops below 100%, you start to walk more slowly. The closer you are to 0 HP, your walking speed decreases, capping at 25%

- Sloth
- Your attack speed reduces by 20%, making combat much slower. Your walking speed reduces by 10%, too, so you’re just slow in general

D Tier
- Psuedoprophecy
- You are locked to one life, which means you have to focus heavily on keeping your HP above 0 and increasing your defences
