In this Dig Dark Oak Tree guide, we go over the location of the tree, as well as how to find all the other trees required in the Wise Oak quest. There are plenty of quests to complete in Dig for a bounty of rewards!
Dig Dark Oak Tree Location
Can’t find the Dark Oak Tree?
Where to Find the Dark Oak Tree
You can find the Dark Oak Tree in the Rooftop Woodlands. It does not have any preferences for a season, but it does prefer Stormy weather. It’s of the Legendary rarity, so it’s not the most common item to drop as you dig in this location.
There is no specific spot for the Dark Oak Tree. All you need to do is keep digging within the Rooftop Woodlands in hopes that it drops!
Wise Oak Tree Quest
The Wise Oak Tree quest is picked up within Fernhill Forest by speaking with the Wise Oak NPC. He stands next to other trees, but he is distinguishable. Upon completion, you obtain the Mythical rarity Flower Crown charm.
When unlocking the quest, ‘The Tree Gathering’, the Wise Oak asks you to collect:
- 1 Dark Oak Tree
- 1 Tree
- 1 Palm Tree
- 1 Dead Tree
- 1 Ice Tree
- 1 Pine Tree
Each tree type may have preferences regarding the season or weather. This means they have a higher chance of appearing during a specific season or weather event, but they can still appear outside of them, too.
Palm Tree
The Palm Tree is a Legendary item that you can find at Cinder Shores.
- It prefers the Autumn season and Stormy weather
Dead Tree
The Dead Tree is a Scarce rarity item located in the Copper Mesa.
- It prefers the Spring season but does not have any preferences for the weather
Tree
You can find the Legendary rarity standard Tree in Fernhill Forest.
- It prefers the Summer season and Stormy weather
Ice Tree
The Ice Tree is located amongst the snowy peaks on Mount Cinder. It is a Divine rarity item!
- It prefers the Winter season and has no preference for the weather
Pine Tree
The Pine Tree is found on Mount Cinder, despite not being covered in snow or ice.
- It prefers the Winter season and Stormy weather
