The Ghoul RE CCG Progression is a little simpler compared to Ghouls, but it’s still important to familiarise yourself with, especially when unlocking your Quinque!
What Ghoul RE rank have you managed to reach? If you’ve chosen to be a Ghoul instead, have a read of our Ghoul RE Ghoul Progression walkthrough.
Ghoul RE CCG Progression
Opted to become a CCG member rather than a Ghoul like Ken Kaneki? Like the Ghoul progression process, even as a member of the CCG, you have ways of improving yourself and strengthening your skills.
CCG Rankings
The first spot is for the top rank and the bottom is for the starter rank! All new players who are a part of the CCG start at Rank 3 Investigator. Every time you rank up, you earn 5 Stat Points!
- Special Class Investigator
- Associate Special Investigator
- First Class Investigator
- Associate First Class
- Semi-associate First Class
- Second Class Investigator
- Rank 1 Investigator
- Rank 2 Investigator
- Rank 3 Investigator
Unlocking Your Quinque
To obtain your first Quinque, you need to reach Rank 1 Investigator and have 2.5K Yen to spare. Upon becoming a Rank 1 Investigator, you unlock your full Quinque, which costs a total of 1.5K Yen. Speak to the NPC who stands in the CCG Base area, and they will provide you with a Briefcase.
To begin with, unlocking your Quinque requires you to find and defeat a Ghoul who has a Kagune. When they are knocked down, you must then use the Briefcase provided to you by the CCG Base NPC. After using the Briefcase on the knocked Ghoul, you obtain a random Quinque!
Standard Issue
Whilst you cannot unlock your Quinque until you are a Rank 1 Investigator, you start off with the Standard Issue Quinque when you are at Rank 3 and Rank 2. You can use a weaker version of Quinque, but you cannot use skills. However, the Standard Issue Quinque comes with Criticals that are unique to CCG members. There are 3 Standard Issue Quinque to choose from:
- Tsunagi
- Katana
- Senza
- Spear
- Ifraft and Abskol
- Daggers
Crafting as a CCG Member
Once you have your Quinque, you unlock crafting! In the CCG building, head to the second floor to find an NPC. Upon speaking to them, a new window opens with the crafting menu. Blueprints are what you use to craft new items – think of them like recipes.
You need to collect Blueprints by completing events or defeating certain NPCs. Using a Blueprint item unlocks a random recipe, which you can then craft. Each recipe contains required materials which can either be collected or crafted themselves!
