Find out how to counter all of the Grace Entities in our guide, as well as the telltale signs that they’re about to spawn!

Encounter the entities with no Grace on Roblox. As this game is inspired by Doors, why not check out our Doors Floor 2 Monsters guide?

Grace Entities

In Grace, various entities have a chance to spawn. Some give you prior warnings so you at least know when they’re nearby. Luckily, there are ways to counter them all.

How to Counter Grace Entities

Some are easier to counter than others, but one thing’s for sure, you need to keep your wits about you.

Genesis

Interestingly, though Genesis is considered an entity, it doesn’t attack you. It appears during the death screen each time you’re defeated and first shows up in the tutorial. The associated badge is “Genesis, I’ll help you”, which suggests this entity may be a friendly-ish one. Its quotes also support this theory, with it describing itself as “no evil” and expressing its love for you. With no attacks, and no threat to the player, there is currently no need to counter Genesis.

Elkman

If static starts to cover your screen, and the music shifts to something more unsettling, the Elkman is nearby. You need to avoid letting it see you at all costs, which means you can either turn away and walk back to a previous room, or hide behind something. The longer it looks at you, the more likely it is to kill you. If it can’t see you, it despawns. The Elkman is a dark figure, with a strange head that stretches out and looks sort of like an eyeball.

Goatman

If a saferoom is open, the Goatman has a chance to spawn. If you are not in a saferoom yourself, the saturation of your screen increases. Soon after, Goatman starts to chase you and anyone else who isn’t in the saferoom. Utilising your flashlight is the best way to survive against the Goatman, but you’ll have to keep shining the light at it until you reach the open saferoom.

Slight

Slight is a large eyeball with a monochrome hypnotic pattern. You know when it’s close by, as a blue glow surrounds it. To counter Slight, you need to look away as fast as possible. If you look at it for too long, it starts to move towards you… and pretty quickly.

Luckily, one attack from Slight doesn’t kill you. However, if you encounter this entity again, and it manages to get you, your playthrough ends immediately.

Sorrow

If the sky turns red with a thick fog, and it starts to rain, Sorrow is about to approach. To counter this entity, you need to find somewhere to shelter and hide as soon as possible. You know when it despawns as a sound effect plays to signal that the area is safe once again.

Carnation

This entity quickly moves through the rooms, managing to defeat all players it passes. To counter this, you need to hide as quickly as possible once it spawns. As long as it can’t see you and doesn’t come across your path, you’re safe. Carnation is a large pink flower, with a wide eye that has a red pupil in the middle.

Your screen is covered in pink static to let you know that Carnation is close by. When its appearance is imminent, pink tentacle-like shapes snake around the border of your screen.

Slugfish

The Slugfish alerts you of its presence by spawning white tentacle-like shapes in the borders of your screen. It works similarly to the Carnation entity above, so the ideal way to counter it is to hide and avoid its path. Instead of a pink flower, it’s a worm with sharp, pointy teeth.

Dozer

Dozer may have a sleepy-looking face, but don’t let it lull you into a sweet lullaby. This entity only appears when Carnation spawns, and you need to stay completely still, crouched down on the floor, to avoid this entity.

Heed

An eyeball that stands sideways, with a red and black colour scheme, Heed relies on you looking away from it. The menacing red glow around it lets you know that it’s in the next room, or in the current one, and you must directly look at it. Unlike some of the other entities, you cannot look away from Heed until you open the next door. Turning away from this entity results in it quickly approaching you to attack.
