What is the Type Soul AFK World?

The AFK World in Type Soul is a game mode that rewards you for being away from your keyboard. Although, you get more rewards by participating in PvP battles within the AFK World, which kind of defeats the point of being ‘away’.

There’s a safe zone and a PvP zone. If you don’t want to participate in battles when in the AFK World, you can stay in the safe zone for as long as you want, with random rewards dropping every 10 minutes. You could do some PvP intermittently to increase your chances of higher rarity rewards.

Upon defeat during a PvP match, you respawn back into the AFK World, so don’t worry about being kicked out. Check your game now and again, as disconnects due to network issues are common, and if you’re away for an extended time, you may miss out on a bunch of rewards.

How to Join the AFK World

Previously you could only join the AFK World if you had a World Ticket. You can get this item by purchasing it from the in-game shop with Robux, or by redeeming codes. However, this ticket type now does something else entirely.

Entry to the AFK World is now completely free. Like other Roblox games that have this feature, all players can jump in and out of the AFK mode whenever they wish. It’s no longer locked behind a World Ticket! This means you don’t have to spend Robux to grant yourself 24-hour access. Yep, a World Ticket only opened this mode for a total of 24 hours upon use, which was pretty annoying.

Although now that entry is free, the drop chances of rare rewards have been reduced, so it may take longer for you to see better rewards while AFK. But, if you’re a Roblox player with Premium, the time it takes for the next reward to drop is lower, so you get more rewards over a shorter period.

New World Tickets

The World Tickets now have a new purpose, and that is to boost the drop rates of rewards while you’re in the AFK World. Are they useful? I’d say so if you already had some in your inventory, but I don’t suggest going out of your way to obtain any extra ones. This drop rate boost comes with a timer, so keep an eye on that and try not to exist AFK World before the timer runs out!
