When it comes to gathering Devas of Creation Thread, the game isn’t too clear as to which mobs drop it. With our guide, you can discover where exactly you can pick up some Thread, which enemies drop it, and what it’s used for.

Devas of Creation Thread

In need of some thread? Follow this guide and you’ll be collecting a ton of it in no time! When hovering over the material, it’s listed as an Uncommon resource, and you can obtain it via mob drops and boss drops.

Where to Find Thread

Firstly, head to Floran Village. The area in which you’ll find the required mobs is just below the Floran Village buildings on the map, specifically around the rocks and mountains beneath it. As you wander around this spot, you may notice the wooden sign that points towards the ‘Grulkar Arena’. When you see that, you know you’re close to the enemies!

The mobs you’re looking for are the Grulkar Minions, but not the Grulkar Ranged Minions. The latter does not drop Thread, but the former does. The Ranged Minions tend to be around level 10, and the melee Grulkar Minions are level 12. Thread is not a guaranteed drop either, with a 40% drop rate chance per kill.

What is Thread Used For?

Thread is used to craft Heavy armor and bows for your character. The rarer the equipment, the more Thread you need, which turns the acquirement into a bit of a grind. Oddly enough, Thread is not a requirement when crafting fishing rods.

It’s a good idea to have a constant stock in, as you must craft new bows (if you’re a ranged DPS) every few levels. Heavy armor upgrades don’t go amiss either, especially if you’re playing as a tanky character.
