Looking for a Candy Crush candies guide? Look no further! We’ve created this handy guide to help you work out which candies are rare, retired, or special. Some aren’t in the game anymore, and others are limited-time candies, but there are plenty to come across when playing the iconic match-3 game!
Candy Crush is one of the market’s most popular match-3 puzzle games. Even if you haven’t played the game before, you’ve probably heard of it! It’s a staple in the mobile puzzle game genre, and for a good reason. Vibrant colours and satisfying gameplay ooze from this brilliant little game. With a whole franchise built off of the original entry in the series, there are hours of gameplay ahead of you!

Regular Candies
- Red Jelly Bean
- Orange Lozenge
- Yellow Lemondrop
- Green Gum
- Blue Lollipop Head
- Purple Jujube Cluster
Event-Exclusive Candies
- Orange – Carved Pumpkin (2020)
- Purple – Heart (2021)
- Blue – Easter Egg (2021)
- Green – Puzzle Piece (2021)
- Orange – Basketball (2021)
- Blue – Water Drop (2021)
- Purple – Weightlifting (2021)
- Green – Bicycle (2021)
- Orange – Marathon Track (2021)
- Orange – Star (2021 USA Only)

- Orange – Swirl

Special Candies
- Striped Candy
- Clears entire rows or columns depending on the stripes
- Wrapped Candy
- Clears the surrounding 8 candies and can activate twice
- Colour Bomb
- Clears all candies when switched with a regular candy
- Switching with a striped candy turns all candies of that colour into striped candies and clears each line dpeending on the direction of the stripes
- Switching with a wrapped candy turns all candies of that colour into wrapped candies – which then activate
- Switching with a colour bomb clears all candy on the board
- When it’s blown up by a special candy, or by falling candies, it removes candies of one colour
- Jelly Fish
- When matched, it creates 3 Jelly Fish that will target and eat a random candy (they do prefer jellies!) – this activates special candies if they get eaten
- Coconut Wheel
- Switching with a regular candy will allow the chain to continue in that same direction – it will clear the first candy and then convert the first 3 to Striped Candies
- Once the roll ends, the Striped Candies will activate
- Lucky Candy
- When matched with a candy, they will turn a candy in accordance with the order
Retired Candies
- Mystery Candy
- Chameleon Candy
- Extra Moves Candy
- Extra Time Candy
