Swiss cloud storage company pCloud has long been considered the best alternative to Dropbox.

And It’s just cemented that status with the release of a new password manager called pCloud Pass.

Founded in 2013, pCloud is one of the highly regarded cloud storage solutions on the market.

This is, of course, partly down to the quality of the product. pCloud is based in Switzerland, which has some of the toughest data protection laws in the world.

It stores that data in highly secure, certified data centers in the EU and the US. And it protects it during the transfer from your device with TLS/SSL encryption.

You can even subscribe for a crypto service with client-side encryption, meaning that nobody except you can ever see your private data.

Generous Pricing

pCloud’s popularity is also down to its generous pricing. For instance, you can pick up a lifetime of premium access to pCloud Pass across unlimited devices for just $149, or a monthly payment of $2.99.

But, as far as we’re concerned, the main reason for pCloud’s preeminent place among cloud storage platforms is the close attention it pays to the behavior and needs of its customers.

pCloud Pass is just the latest example of this consumer-friendly approach.

This cutting edge new service basically gives you permission to forget those countless passwords you’re expected to have at your fingertips at all times.

pCloud Pass generates highly secure passwords on your behalf using a bespoke password generator. This lets you access your passwords with either a single Master Password or biometric information.

Not only that, but you can also use pCloud Pass to autofill all of your login details when you sign-in to stuff online.

Plus, pCloud Pass has a couple of neat features in the pipeline, including support for password sharing. That means you’ll still be able to share your Netflix and Spotify accounts, even in your new hyper-secure regime.

pCloud Pass will even let you store digital copies of important documents like your passport, Covid certificate, driver’s license, and so on.
