MU Origin 2, the popular mobile MMORPG from Korean developer Webzen, has just received a whole new class in its latest update, along with a wealth of other tweaks and features.
The Grow Lancer class, included with the game’s 7.0 update, is available to players who have reached level 120. Equipment for this class can be obtained by defeating Dungeons, Kalima, Field Monsters, Elite Monsters, Boss Monsters, and so on.
The Grow Lancer is a female close-range melee attacker who wields a sword and shield in battle. Her skills make her a force to be reckoned with in both monster-hunting and PvP combat.
But be warned: any Costume Chests that you acquired before the 7.0 update definitely won’t contain costumes for the Grow Lancer class, and you won’t be able to exchange your old chests for new ones or get refunds on them. Instead, these chests will give you costumes for another class.
Grow Lancer is the headline feature of the MU Origin 2 7.0 update, but there’s plenty of other stuff to get your teeth into.
For instance, there’s also a new Archangel Refinement feature, allowing you to refine your Archangel weapons to increase their attacking and defensive properties.
The new Immortal Seal Stone, meanwhile, lets you increase the power of your Immortal and unleash enhanced elemental attacks, and a new Tarot Card feature allows you to collect Tarot Cards that contain the powers of the old gods.
On top of all that, Abyss Season 41 has just begun. You can complete a new mission to collect Abyss Coins and Abyss Blood Coins, which you can then exchange for Abyss Costumes. The event will run until March 6th.
There’s still more, including new maps, improvements to Lost Tower and Abyss Tower, and new quests.
To check it all out, download MU Origin 2 for free right now on the Google Play Store or the App Store.
