Loads of stuff happens every week in the world of mobile gaming. There are new releases, updates, upgrades, probably lots of other stuff as well. In fact, there’s so much that it can be difficult to keep track of it all. If only there was some sort of easily digestible round-up that came out every Sunday. 

That’s what we call a set-up, because that’s exactly what you’re reading. We’ve picked the ten biggest news stories of the mobile-gaming week and rounded them up into a delightfully easy to comprehend reading experience.

We’ll be doing this every week for the foreseeable future, so make sure you check back every Sunday to keep abreast of everything that’s been going on in iOS and Android gaming. Bish, bash and, wait for it, bosh.

New details about PUBG: New State

PUBG: New State is a sort of rebooting of the classic battle royale game. It’s set to bring PUBG into the modern era with new maps, equipment, graphics and more. And you can find out more about it in this video. It’s an exploration of the new map, with added commentary and some other goodies. You can pre-order the game on the Play Store right now, and it’ll be launching worldwide on iOS and Android later in the year.

Touchgrind Scooter out for iPhone and iPad

Touchgrind Scooter is the newest entry in the Touchgrind series. It involves scooters instead of skateboards and BMXs though. You can check out our review to get a better idea of what to expect from the game. And you can download it for free from the App Store by clicking here.

Purgatory added to the Marvel Contest of Champions roster

Purgatory is the latest addition to Marvel Contest of Champions. She’s got some cool moves, a flaming sword and an exciting system that makes her angrier the more damage she does. Check out her special moves in the video below and grab the game from the App Store here and the Play Store here.

Among Us roadmap

Genshin Impact version 1.6 out now

The newest content update to Genshin Impact has gone live on the App Store and Play Store. It’s called Midsummer Island Adventure. It’s got new a new character, a time-locked new area and a new sword. And there’s a trailer you can watch to fill in the rest of the gaps.

Once Upon a Pyre expansion lands for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game

Gwent is getting three new expansions in the next few months, and the first of them has just gone live. It’s called Once Upon a Pyre and it adds 26 new cards to the game, as well as some other bits and bobs. Grab the game from the App Store and Play Store and check out the trailer while you’re at it.

New Devil May Cry game out on mobile

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is a mobile-only version of the famous brawler. It’s just been released, but the bad news is it’s only been released in China. We imagine it’ll be getting a worldwide release in the coming months, so feast your eyes on the trailer below to get you in the mood for when it does.

Spelldust launching June 22nd

Spelldust mixes together ideas from Hearthstone and Clash Royale to create a card-based PvP experience that looks pretty darn exciting. It’s coming out for both iOS and Android on June 22nd. Here’s a trailer.
