Unlike a lot of MOBAs out there, Marvel Realm of Champions (download from the App Store and Google Play Store) offers up a bunch of different modes for you to try. They’re all a bit different, which is sort of the point, and there are strategies and tactics you’re going to need to learn if you want to come out on top.

Which is why we’ve put together this guide. We’ve played the different modes and discovered strategies that are going to help you out with all of them. Read this guide and you’re going to have the best chance of victory.

There might be some stuff we’ve missed, and if you think that’s the case feel free to chuck your own hints, tips and tricks in the comments section at the bottom of the article. Before that, though, here are all the strategies you need to win in Marvel Realm of Champions.

Arena Conquest

This is the most standard MOBA mode in Marvel Realm of Champions. You’ll play in a team of three with the goal of smashing your opponent’s base. You need to capture a central point before you can attack the base, and that’s where most of the action will happen.

The key to success here is working as a team. Stick together and make sure you’re playing to your character’s strength. It’s a good idea to make sure you’ve got all the aspects you need by playing with friends. That way you can have a tank, a ranged attacker and a support character instead of just what the game matches you with.

Save your special attacks for opponents rather than the BODOK. And don’t stray into the yellow-delineated area, where you’re going to take massive damage from the base.

Stronghold

In this mode you’re teaming up with two other players to take down waves of enemies. Those enemies are trying to destroy an ISO core, which you need to defend.

The key to success here is keeping an eye on where the monsters are. When they’re getting closer to your base, make sure you head back to defend it. You need to stay abreast of what’s happening behind you, so be careful charging out to the far edges of the map and getting stranded.

If your teammates have moved forwards, consider hanging back to sweep up any beasts that get past.

Deathmatch

This is the simplest of the modes. It involves teaming up with another player for a 2v2v2 fight to the death. Or, more accurately, to the deaths. Whichever team gets the most kills at the end of the time limit is the winner.

One thing to watch out for is healing orbs. These green glowing blobs will up your HP, and can turn the tables pretty quickly in a scrap. Staying close to your team member is a good idea, since then you’ll be dealing twice the damage.

You’ll get goodies just for playing, but winning will get you more. And having more HP left at the end of the game will also bag you some extras.

Onslaught

Onslaught is another three player co-op mode. This time you need to kill waves of increasingly stronger enemies before the time runs out. There are levels where you’re only fighting minions, and levels with bosses.

The minion levels are where you can boost up your HP – killing the minions will heal you up. You’re going to need that, because the boss levels are particularly tough.

When the bosses are attacking you, try and make sure your team is focusing on one at once. Taking them down individually is much, much tougher, and if you’re fighting in a group you’ve got a much better chance to win.
